Less motion. More meaning.
Use movement to explain a change, rather than decorate a scroll.

Movement should answer a question.
An expanding menu explains where navigation lives. A pressed button confirms that an action registered. A short entrance can establish reading order. These are useful jobs for motion because they reduce uncertainty instead of competing with the content.
Build a small motion vocabulary.
Choose one easing curve, a few durations and a consistent direction for entrances. Avoid animating every card independently. On smaller screens, shorter distances and fewer moving elements preserve the feeling without making the interface tiring.
Respect the quiet version.
Reduced-motion preferences deserve a complete experience. Content and controls should remain understandable without parallax, animated transforms or a staged reveal. Treat that version as a design requirement from the beginning, not an adjustment at the end.
